Don't want someone see your drive Installation Drive or any Drive? You can hide any drive with a simple registry edit, by following the below steps -
- Go to Start Menu -> Run (Win+R) -> Type regedit and press enter to launch Registry editor
- Navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies
- Right Click on Policies -> New -> Key and rename it to Explorer
- Now Right click on the right side pane and click on New > DWORD value and rename it as NoDrives
Similarly, for hiding other drives use different Value data from the below table-
To hide drive A and Drive D , you would add 1 + 8=9 (A and D) Here, I want to hide drive C valued 4. Right Click on the DWORD value just created -> Modify and set value to 4
